Silverstone Composites came to Freeform Technology to help them with the design and manufacture of high quality composite patterns for a new project they received from Crawly Creatures.
Silverstone Composites is a high quality composite component manufacturing facility based just outside Towcester (Northamptonshire). They undertake all matters of component manufacture in many sectors, including – Motorsport, Automotive, Military and Aerospace.
The composite patterns were designed in-house, giving Silverstone Composites a one-stop shop for pattern manufacture, knowing precision and care was taken on every step of the process, along with constant communication to effectively make sure the tooling was correct for mould manufacture. Once the composite patterns were machined and inspected in-house, they were sent over to Silvertone Composites for the production of the composite moulds.
Marcus and his team at Silverstone Composites took the patterns manufactured at Freeform, sealed and released them and then got to work to produce some high quality moulds with a great surface finish for the end customer – Crawley Creatures.
