Meet the Freeform Technology team, they are more than just our technicians and engineers. They make the difference to our clients by providing outstanding results and customer service. We want to introduce our team members and let them share what it’s like to work at Freeform Technology. In this interview Paul Cash-Davis, CAM Programmer at Freeform Technology discusses his 12 years working with us.
What is your role at Freeform and what is your day-to-day job entail?
My role is CAM programmer and my day-to-day is made up of offline programming for our CMS and DMG machines using Siemens NX-CR.
What is the most exciting/interesting part of your role at Freeform Technology?
The most interesting part of my role at Freeform is having different jobs to program everyday and having to think about how to approach each job differently whether it is a jig or a pattern.
What do you enjoy most about working at Freeform Technology?
I really enjoy the camaraderie with all the guys at Freeform this makes it an enjoyable place to work. I also like getting to go out on works outings like Go karting and the Crystal Maze experience.
What has been your biggest achievement at work?
Training up in most of the departments has been my biggest achievement, being able to follow a job all the way though the processes from programming and machining to hand finishing and inspecting. I enjoy having the flexibility to swap departments when needed and have a change of scene.
