In this interview Monika Paronska, CNC Machinist at Freeform Technology, discusses her experience working with us.
What is your role at Freeform and what does your day-to-day job entail?
Day-to-day I set up blocks of different types of material depending on my setting sheet, choosing the correct program, and monitoring to make sure everything is working as it should. I’m also responsible for tools and maintenance of my workplace.
What is the most exciting/interesting part of your role at Freeform?
I love maths, so the most exciting part for me is all the measurements, preparing MDF to process, finding X0 Y0 Z0, and checking the part between options.
What do you enjoy the most about working at Freeform Technology?
Feeling like I’m part of the team, everybody is nice, friendly, and helpful. Also, whilst working I can listen to my audiobook or speaker at my workstation. I really like that the company is open for raising qualifications for employees, for example some extra courses we can take part in are first aid, forklift or CMM.
What has been you biggest achievement at work?
Setting my first job up by myself after a week of training on DMU85 and making parts for big companies.
