It’s amazing how time passes without you realising. Freeform Technology has just celebrated its 14th anniversary and it made the whole team reflect on how far the company has come.
Freeform Technology started out in 2008 with one machine and two founders, Fred and Simon! They both carried out multiple roles within the business from blocking up, programming and machining, hand finishing, inspection and deliveries in addition to quoting, invoicing, paying bills and business development. It is crazy to think that when starting out they did all these jobs on their own!
Fast forward 14 years and this is a snapshot of Freeform today:
- 8 Five-Axis CNC machines
- 23 Employees across 7 departments
- 12,500 Square feet manufacturing facility
Bearing in mind the majority of the parts we manufacture are bespoke items, in the last year Freeform has produced 8296 parts which is made up of 2462 patterns and moulds, 5059 carbon inserts and 775 metallic moulds and components.
These sort of figures are only possible through the achievements of an exceptional team. Simon Burchett, Co-Founder of Freeform Technology said: “I am so proud of the consistent dedication the team puts in to maintaining the high standards that we pride ourselves on, and for that I thank every one of you.”
With continued investment in new machinery and exceptional staff, Freeform Technology will continue to grow enabling us to further support our new and existing customers.
