Pattern and mould manufacture

Shaping the Future – Pattern and Mould Manufacture

Here at Freeform Technology, we have a wealth of experience in pattern and mould creation and manufacture. We can work from drawings, CAD designs, 3D modelling, various other imported file types, and in rarer examples, even from a purely conceptual approach, where our team work closely with customers to interpret. This is where we capture our customer’s visualisation and convert to the physical reality of the requirement. We seek to be no ordinary team – we seek to be extraordinary, in both our approach and execution to deliver to our customers the very best of what’s required, even if it’s just at the idea stage!

We can also help in determining optimum mould material specifications, together with designs that integrate into a production environment, whether through existing supplier integration, or a totally new manufacturing processing requirement. Flexibility is our key, together with our expertise in proposing practical suggestions towards innovative pattern and mould manufacture, enhanced use of mould materials, and our focus towards achieving the best possible composite manufacturing outcomes. We always maintain a very close eye for our customers on the costs of production, whether per unit for volume-based manufacture, or a single one-time cost for bespoke individualised component manufacture, and of course anything in-between.

Pattern and mould manufacture is predominantly, but not exclusively, created from various substrates that include Epoxy, high density polyurethane, steels, and aluminium. Our metallic machining capabilities are built upon the industry leading DMU 65 monoBLOCK which facilitates a wide spectrum of metallic machining capabilities, aluminium being a favoured specialism.

One size does not fit all, and here at Freeform Technology, we understand this. It’s particularly relevant to pattern and mould manufacture and design. That’s why here at Freeform Technology we offer our customers a fully customised approach, from the initial capture of customer requirement, which we then convert to a statement of work, and subsequent development of a formal proposal, together with quotation. It’s a well tried, transparent, and trusted approach that we offer to each and every customer. An approach that is positively validated through the many testimonials we have received. Please feel free to talk to us – our experienced team are here to listen and offer advice.
